it used to be great @ Costi's Famous Fish Cafe
As a regular customer who works in the area I have to comment as to how bad the food has been here lately. Ever since they had a new crew take over the place the quality has suffered immensely. The burgers used to havea nice turkish style bun and now they use Mc Donalds style buns and they had the gall to increase the price by an extra $2. Last night I had snapper fillets that were obviously pre processed battered type fillets that ended up being burnt and inedible due to what I think is an inexperienced cook (definately NOT a chef) who seems to be too busy talking on his phone and sociallizing with the other staff than concentrating on what he's supposed to be doing. The salads are a bit limp and bland and the chips werevery average.Previously it was a little pricey (but it is the rocks after all) but the quality was of a very high standard so you didn't mind so much. I think the G'day cafe is probably a better option and cheaper.It's a real shame.
