Good Wheelchair access

We are new locals and have been to Fish on Flinders a few of times - once they gave us battered instead of grilled, but that's the only time they've stuffed up. Yes, the shop isn't much to look at, but the last time we went there I had the most amazing fish I've ever tasted. I had beautiful grilled barra, my husband ordered grilled snapper - we both got our meals with chips, salad and a side of calamari - it was great. It was less than $50 for both of us to have a nice meal, a beer each and a handful of fresh local prawns. Going back tonight :o)

Good for after-work drinks

Went for dinner at the RSL at about 7.30pm on Rock n Roll night. Place was packed, plenty of atmosphere! Cheap drinks and really friendly staff. Unfortunately the food was terrible. It was close to the end of food service (I think dinner starts at about 4.30pm for the oldies!) so we will go back again a bit earlier in the evening to see if there's any difference! Overall, a fun place for a drink.

Great with a large group

A group of us went to the Full Moon for a Sunday breakfast and were pleasantly surprised! We thought that it would be nice, but it was amazing! The staff member that served us was a classic - he took all our orders by memory (and they all came) and he was really cheery and friendly. We had beautiful freshly squeezed juice, and it was no trouble when my (pregnant) sister asked to have the juices all mixed in one glass! Food was awesome - between us we had pancakes, omelettes and eggs benedict with salmon - all of it was hot, fresh, and well presented.

We'll definitely be back there again.

I went to this bar about 9 months ago and ended up leaving the drinks I ordered on the bar because the guy that served me was such a rude prat. I swore I would never go back there....



Two weeks ago I went back for a work function and it was better, but it still feels like the staff are very important to themselves. Ok, so they don't serve JD, but responding with a look that says, 'OMG who drinks that?' just isn't necessary.
