I love mussels, and I love beer & chips. This restaurant has it all! Came here for dinner on Thursday night, and enjoyed 1kg of mussels with excellent chips, and a few of my fav beers, Hoegaarden. The style of the restaurant & bar has this great olde worlde feeling, which makes you feel like you are in Europe somewhere. Very stylish, rustic & classic. The service is excellent. It has a casual feel, it is the type of place that would suit a bunch of people celebrating a birthday, or just a friends get together.
Yep, this one has my vote.

I came here to see Lily Allen, and I have to say the show was pretty good. I enjoyed her music & the 7 piece band, but it was pretty hard to want to stick around with the state of Arena as a music venue! Arena had zero airconditioning and it was just generally unpleasant to be there, people were just so dragged down with the dense heat, it was hard to get excited and bust out a move & enjoy the tunes. I seriously was standing still, away from the crowd at the back, drinking a cold beverage and I was beading with recycled sweat. Yuk!
I know it has that grungy sort of image, but please! with the amount of headlineing acts they get through there they could at least invest in some aircon & some better toilets & maybe some seats so you can sit down in the back, without sitting on the festy ground when your legs get tired!!
I have seen Arctic monkeys there as well and it was the same deal, very sticky and frankly just gross.
Overall: So-So

Very impressed with the initial result even after the first treatment! I am excited!! Fay is realistic & very good at explaining the ins & outs of the permanant hair reduction treatments. I would recommend coming here to get anything like this done, she knows her stuff & that itself puts you at ease.

My partner and I came here for dinner (make sure you book on a Friday or Saturday night) as I have been wanting to try this place for a while, I have had RAVE reviews from people. My partner had both spent a lot of time in Mexico and I wanted to see if this place had a tex-mex feel or a REAL Mexican taste.
My partner ordered the Chicken Mole (molay), and I had a dish that I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. It was a dish served with rice, and a bowl of shredded chicken, beans, tomato etc which had serves of chili and guacamole on the side. It even had a proper corn tortilla. I really enjoyed it! My partner really liked his Mole, but its never quite the same as when you are actually in Mexico, but oh well. I tried the Fruit Punch, sangria (1 glass $4 non-alcoholic), but I wasn't a fan. We stuck to our BYO wine and had a great evening. I would highly reccommended giving this one a try.

Came here for Lunch for a function, service was great, venue is unique, food very nice. Had the crab ravioli to start, then had the Barra with perfect string beans and potatoes. At the end we had a type of sticky date pudding, I couldn't even fit it all in. I tried though. Lovely.

Came here for a Yum cha lunch with my Dad, unfortunately we arrived at around 1.15 when the trolley had stopped going around, so we had to order everything. The food was reasonably good, very decent for the price. The service was pretty good as well. I will keep this place in mind next time I am in surfers

My partner and I came here for dinner and firstly we were very impressed with unique shape of the venue. The service was fantastic but the food was the most impressive thing about the evening. We ordered the Duck Pate with toasted bread for starters which was lovely, just what we were after! Then I ordered the Sand Crab Ravioli served on a bed of spinach with a creamy tomato based sauce, it had big chunks of sand crab and had lovely large shavings of parmesan cheese. It was just how I imagined the dish to be and a good sized portion, excellent. My Partner had the eye fillet served with half a morton bay big with chat potatoes, he was commenting on how it was the best steak he had tasted for a long time. Juicy and tender, perfect flavours complimented by the bug. He was enjoying it so much I was starting to wish I had his meal. For dessert I was tossing up between a cheese platter, but we decided on a warm chocolate fondue where we dipped biscoti and fruit. Excellent evening...its so nice to treat yourself to a fabulous meal.

I saw the Vaekai show by Cirque Du Soleil on its opening night and it totally BLEW me away, I recommend EVERYONE to see this show. The costumes, the performance, the comedy, the set, the live music, the lighting effects, everything was pure gold. There are so many things that just amazed and amused me in absolute wonder. See it, NOW.

Came here on a Friday and was very surpised by their new Pizza's!! Damn, they are good, I could probably eat two in one sitting if I was starving as I am now writing this review.
There was a bunch of us and we decided we would get one of each. My favourite was the Organico (veg one with roasted pumpkin, spinach, fetta) and the Cesar and the Lamb one. They are on these really thin bases (which I prefer) and they go perfectly with a cool beer.
I've got to go eat now just thinking about it...

Came here with a group of 6 of us as I had been wanting to try this place out for such a long time. I have never eaten food like this before and it sounded like fun! Everyone gets their own technique by the end of their meal.
I ordered the Surf and Turf and it turned out to be the best option as I had to keep guarding my food from my partner who had finished his eye fillet, he kept sizing up my prawns! It was delicious! Great with a group of people, so much activity on the table and its a great conversation starter. The service was fantastic, I can't wait to come back....
